As I'm sitting here at work dreaming of free dining, I'm considering changing/adding some ADRs.

Thoughts on Tusker House or Boma???

I've never eaten at either but can't decide between the two. Has anyone eaten at both? Tusker is a character meal but the food options at Boma looked a bit better? Thoughts?

Eaten at both and love both! Boma offers unique dishes you don't see anywhere else. Their desserts are really great too. Definitely more upscale than tusker. We love love love tusker house for breakfast! It is a must do for us each time we go.

Just to clue you in on what really matters. We are currently tuned in on 4/17 as the drop date. I believe we have 4 different sources, if I counted right that night. Mainly people hearing from their TAs or info on FB. But all the same info coming in so looks positive. We've also heard sep, late nov, December as possible dates but this was really speculation. Nothing solid.

So this wait and all the planning has been driving me crazy! I'm in serious Disney withdrawal! Enough that I've convinced my sister and her boyfriend to come with me to Disneyland on Sunday (we'll get the SoCal pass so can go 3 times for $150). Can't wait!

We still haven't heard from our experts on this thread yet as to when the possible release date is. I think TA's could just be making educated guesses at this point. I do hope that date is right though because the kids have that day of of school and I can relax. When we hear from Black or The Dirty Steve that will be when I will be more confident of the FD release date.

I've been trying to think of an example of a quick TS. I can't really think of one. The problem is we always seem to wait 15-20 minutes past our ADR before being called in, so that can be a real time sucker.

This is true. Like I said it depends on how long you are going and how many park days. We have 10 park days so that means 30 fast passes. We are also rope drop to close most of those days. So by the time I get to dinner time I don't mind sitting and waiting 20 minutes to get a table. None will be as fast as a QS but The Plaza will take less time then CRT. That is the kind of comparison I was making.

Agree. I was recapping what had been discussed not commenting on the legitimacy of it. We are still in who knows land and I'm not letting my guard down.

I read this this morning and didn't want to be a wet blanket so didn't say anything, but I agree with him. It's possible that the person speaking was in the know some how, or it's entirely possible that they weren't. But this April 17th thing is gaining a lot of steam and I'd hate to see people disappointed. I personally don't feel confident about that date until I start hearing more confirmation, especially from our resident experts.

You have a good list. I can see how many of those places would be fairly quick since some of them don't seem very popular. I don't mean that in a bad way. I just mean I've noticed lots of last minute availability for several of those restaurants. The only two places on your list I've eaten at were Raglan Rd. and SciFi.

A couple of those we found at the last minute. One off site trip we were planning on not eating at the park but a couple of character meals and a few quick service and then doing some food at our condo. At the last minute my husband got a bonus and it was sort of like well what can I get. All were good and I fell in love with the plaza then. So pretty.
