It's true, they really do. I even have a coffee mug to prove it. So where in WDW do you get your pancake fix?

Glad they make you happy, but even though I adore carbs, I'm not a pancake/waffle/french toast kinda girl. :) On that note, don't like anything too sweet either (so no maple syrup, or "furit compote" on breakfast items). I tried Tonga and puffed cinammon sugar toasts both each ONE time, took ONE bite, and the memory of those is literally making my teeth hurt now! LOL

I might like to try the pancakes in that pic, since I love macadamia nuts (or any nuts, for that matter), but the syrupy pineapple part of that is making my teeth hurt! :rotfl:

I don't know if I've ever had pancakes in WDW. I'm a sucker for Mickey waffles...

Pancakes at the Wave are pretty good too.

This is an interesting question; it's been a while, but I don't actually remember seeing pancakes at any of the restaurants we went to. Mostly the breakfasts were buffets or quick service, though. (The buffets were for the character interactions, for sure.)

Tonga Toast is the most disgusting food known to man. I'm not a picky eater and it almost me made me barf. DH and I both left ours untouched.

I'll be honest, that is the first review of Tonga Toast that someone said it was disgusting at least from the reviews I have seen.

I know. People rave about it. Lot's of people. But DH and I both agreed it was simply awful lol

Ok off-topic kinda sorta.....we had the craving for pancakes last night but didn't feel like cooking. We live in a small town, so if you want chain restaurants, you have to drive 30+ minutes away. There are 2 IHOPs that are approximately 45 minutes in but last time we went there, service was crappy. Waiter was not paying attention. I ordered buttermilk chocolate chip, he brought plain. I told him it wasn't what I ordered. He went back then came back and questioned me if that was really what i ordered because it isn't what he wrote down.

So this time we went to Denny's that's "closer" to home. About 30 minutes after ordering, waitress asks if we would like a cup of soup on the house as the wait is taking long. We all ordered breakfast so we declined. She asked what about fruit? So got a bowl of starberries. Another 15 minutes passes and we walked out. They had 5-6 serve staff and 2 cooks and maybe 5 tables of guests(all 4-tops). We ended up with Chinese food!
