Official 2016 Princess Half Marathon Thread

So I just noticed that the event guide says that the Magic Kingdom will open at 8am on Saturday. Disney website says 9. I know the park has opened at 8am on Saturday in the past. Is this a change we can count on? I've got a BOG breakfast reservation at 8am that I'd probably cancel if it is no longer pre-RD.

All Disney hotels are host hotels for Princess.

I don't know where you are reading just two hotels? It is all Disney hotels, plus Shades of Green and Swan and Dolphin. Can others chime in on here? I know it is all hotels, just can't find where it says that.

It says here under the Princess Event that any WDW resort is a host resort with race transportation. Compare that to the Wine and Dine tab where they list only specific resorts.

They are not preorder only. They will be available for sale at the Expo. I understand they sell out fast though. Last year they didn't do a preorder and all the bags were sold out in the first two hours of the Expo.

Right?!? I don't know how I feel about those shorts! I like everything else though.

And speaking of shorts... the other day I watched a very sweaty man get off his treadmill and reach all the way into Neverland to rescue the two dwarfs from his underwear that had crept up. The bathroom was like ten feet away so I have no idea why he didn't just go there to take care of the problem.

Not sure how I feel about the shorts either. I will say that is probably the best metaphor I've ever seen and I'm both disgusted by the idea of the display and amazed at your creativity.

Uggghh i want all the stuff! I haven't purchased race merch since the 2012 PHM, but I won't be doing next year's PHM so I want keepsakes! I have my sights set on the pink zip-up, the pink sweatyband, the blue pullover, the 19.3 miles magnet (they seriously need to make a 22.4 magnet for those who do all three races), maybe the grey tiara tank top (I need to see it in person).
