Rain delay for tennis...storms started moving through around 6 with lots of thunder & lightening. They've FINALLY started the first matches. SO grateful the tournament is here in Bellville and we didn't have to sit in our cars and watch it rain for 4 hours! Short 10 minutes to the tennis courts and we're ready to go! Good, no GREAT job by the little Princess this morning on her solo. First announced she won Best Costume and then announced she WON her age group for her solo! She LOVES "flying"...

...and now to WITW business ... Diane knows her Port Orleans! Not asking for a location since there's no clues in the crop but YES...a winner! My sister's picture from their stay when nephew got married at the Wedding Chapel...

Congrats to your DGD.

REDSTORM does it again...7th Grade Singles District Tennis Champ

Couple of hard beginnings to matches but she pulled it together...had to tape the ankle after the first match and wasn't sure she was gonna make it or not but she's a real trouper! Coaches want her in for whirlpool and treatment tomorrow but I have a feeling she's going to sleep very well tonight! Hot day in Texas !

Yep...wish we could have been in 2 places at once. Hate that we missed the dance competition but it was in Austin and tennis here in Bellville. NO way to do both.

Like your two! She's VERY competitive and remembers some of the girls she had to play from volleyball or basketball...she also has a LONG memory if you get my drift! She really, REALLY wanted to beat the girls in the first match and then the championship one!

She was sick Tuesday & Wednesday so she missed 2 days of practice; the other young lady thought she had a better chance of beating her because of that.....
